A recent study published in The Lancet has highlighted a growing risk of High Blood Pressure among teenagers. Experts link the rise to unhealthy diets, obesity, excessive screen time, stress, lack of physical activity, and poor sleep patterns. High salt intake and processed foods are also contributing factors.

Often called a silent condition, hypertension in teens may go unnoticed until complications develop. Early lifestyle changes, regular health screenings, balanced nutrition, and physical activity are essential to reduce long-term cardiovascular risks and promote healthier habits during adolescence and early adulthood.
