The HPV Vaccine is recommended up to age 14 because it is most effective when given before exposure to the virus, not just at the onset of puberty. While some children may enter puberty as early as 8, the immune response to the vaccine is strongest in preteens and early adolescents.

Administering it between ages 9 and 14 ensures better protection against HPV-related conditions, including cervical cancer. Doctors emphasize early vaccination as a preventive step, regardless of physical development timing, to build long-lasting immunity and reduce future health risks.
