Many women lack access to cervical cancer vaccination, primarily due to limited awareness, cultural taboos, and misinformation about the HPV vaccine. Some believe it’s unnecessary unless sexually active, leading to delayed or missed vaccinations. Additionally, the cost and limited availability of the vaccine hinder access, especially in underserved areas. Without the HPV vaccine, women remain at higher risk for developing cervical cancer, which can result in premature death and emotional and financial burdens on families. Increasing awareness, addressing myths, and improving vaccine accessibility are essential steps in reducing cervical cancer incidence and improving women’s health outcomes globally.
