24 Weeks of Pregnancy
Share
At 24 weeks of pregnancy, you’re nearing the end of the second trimester, and your baby is making significant strides in development. Your baby is about the size of an ear of corn, weighing around 1.3 pounds (600g) and measuring around 12 inches (30 cm). The lungs are developing, and the skin is becoming more opaque. Your baby’s movements may become stronger and more noticeable.
For moms, you may experience leg cramps, backaches, and Braxton Hicks contractions as your body prepares for labor. It’s a good time to focus on a balanced diet, stay active, and begin considering birth plans and prenatal classes. Regular checkups remain essential to monitor both your and your baby’s health.
