Dr Mohammad Irfan Banday brings over a decade of experience as an Orthopaedic Surgeon. Dr Banday pursued an MS in Orthopaedics from Government Medical College, Jammu, India. His surgical trainings and association have been with the VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, Medanta Hospitals, Gurugram followed by, Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram. As an Orthopaedic Surgeon, he has also worked extensively with Jammu and Kashmir State Health Services.
He specialized in his skills by completing Fellowship in Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy from the esteemed Himchan Hospital in Seoul, Korea. Followed by another Fellowship in Shoulder and Upper Limb Arthroscopy, Arthroplasty and Limb Reconstruction at the Medanta Hospitals in Gurugram, India. He is an engaged member of Indian Orthopaedic Association and The Shoulder and Elbow Society of India and actively pursues research interests through publications in prestigious national and international journals.
Dr Banday is passionate about advancing his practice and research in arthroscopy and complex arthroplasty of shoulder and upper limb, orthopaedic trauma surgeries of upper and lower limbs and complex limb reconstruction including both primary and revision surgeries. His areas of interest include sports injuries, instability, degenerative disease, joint replacement (including complex trauma cases), and tendon transfers.
